Frequently Asked Questions
How do I apply?
Our community only requires applications for Law Enforcement, Fire / EMS, and Communications.
You can join as a Civilian by joining our discord and agreeing to our rules.
What are the activity requirements?
We know that people have lives to live. Whether it is work, school, or that you just want to play other games. We understand that people may not be able to be in server all the time.
BCRP only requires that a member completes a form at the start of every quarter in the year for activity. This also provides a way for members to submit suggestions or to voice any issues directly to staff.
I want to join an emergency service, how do I apply?
You must first be a civilian within our community, we have our applications within the discord and it is done per character, not by member. Internal Affairs will do a background check in our CAD/MDT system for the character applying and if everything is good then we will ask to speak to the person before making a decision.
Why is Law Enforcement grouped together?
At BCRP, we believe in providing flexibility to our members when it comes to law enforcement representation during patrol. You have the freedom to choose any law enforcement agency you wish to be a part of when you apply. If you want to join another agency, simply create another persona and register them with the D.P.S. Superintendent.
Each persona you create can be promoted or demoted as a separate individual, including the new implementation of separate callsigns. However, additional department ranks are limited to Sergeant and below. This allows you to have diverse experiences within our community while maintaining unique character distinctions.
What kind of RP Community is BCRP?
BCRP is a small community that operates using FivePD as well as VMenu.
FivePD is a script that was created to provide PvE opportunities within server. Allowing an "LSPD:FR style experience.
We operate using VMenu as it provides members with the opportunity to create meaningful RP scenarios without the restrictions of life-based servers.
What is the policy for streaming or recording patrols in BCRP?
In BCRP, we have an open streaming and recording policy. While not mandatory, we encourage displaying the community member panel and providing a link to our website for those who have the ability to do so.
